1. Introduction

Welcome to Lyoseko Safaris Tanzania. By booking a safari, activity, or related travel service with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms define the contractual relationship between Lyoseko Safaris Tanzania and the guest and apply to all bookings unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We operate tailor-made private safaris and activities across Northern Tanzania, including Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Arusha National Park.

3. Bookings & Payments

• All bookings must be confirmed in writing (email or booking form).
• A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation.
• The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days prior to departure, unless earlier payment is required by suppliers (see note below).
• Payments are accepted via bank transfer or other methods stated in your quotation.

Once the deposit is received, your booking is considered confirmed and binding.

All prices displayed on the Lyoseko Safaris Tanzania website are starting prices and are based on a private safari for two guests travelling together, unless stated otherwise.

Final safari pricing depends on travel season, accommodation selection, park fees at the time of booking and the age of travelling guests. Your confirmed total price will always be stated in your final written quotation and booking confirmation.

Single travelers may be subject to a single supplement. Solo travel pricing is provided on request and confirmed in the final quotation.

The deposit covers immediate third-party commitments and administrative costs and is therefore non-refundable.

Final payment deadlines may vary depending on accommodation and park requirements. Earlier payment may be required and will be communicated in writing.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation fees are based on the total booking value and reflect non-recoverable costs such as accommodation deposits, park fees and logistical arrangements.

Please note that certain accommodation providers, park authorities and third-party suppliers may require full payment and apply non-refundable policies as early as 45 days prior to departure. In such cases, cancellation fees will reflect these non-recoverable costs and may exceed the standard percentages listed above.

The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances. Refunds, where applicable, exclude bank charges, credit card fees and non-recoverable third-party costs. No refunds are given for unused services or early departure.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation, interruption and medical emergencies.

5. Changes by the Guest

Requests for changes after confirmation are subject to availability and may incur additional costs. All such costs are borne by the guest.

6. Changes by Lyoseko

Lyoseko Safaris Tanzania reserves the right to amend itineraries due to safety concerns, weather conditions, park regulations or logistical circumstances. Comparable alternatives will be offered where reasonably possible.

7. Health, Safety & Insurance

• Guests must hold comprehensive travel insurance covering medical treatment, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and personal belongings.
• AMREF Flying Doctors emergency evacuation cover is strongly recommended but not included in any Lyoseko Safaris Tanzania package. Guests are fully responsible for arranging and purchasing this cover directly via AMREF.
• Guests are responsible for meeting all health, vaccination and fitness requirements for travel in Tanzania.

Lyoseko Safaris Tanzania shall not be held liable for medical costs, evacuation expenses, or losses arising from inadequate insurance coverage or the guest’s decision not to obtain recommended insurance.

Wildlife travel involves inherent risks. Participation in any safari activity is entirely at the guest’s own risk.

8. Liability

Lyoseko Safaris Tanzania acts as an intermediary for accommodation providers, transport operators and activity partners. We shall not be liable for injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by third parties, force majeure, wildlife encounters, accidents, or circumstances beyond our direct control.

9. Travel Documents & Entry Requirements

Guests are responsible for ensuring valid passports, visas, vaccinations and compliance with Tanzanian entry regulations. Information provided by Lyoseko Safaris Tanzania is advisory only.

10. Complaints & Feedback

Any issues must be reported immediately during the safari to allow resolution on-site. Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of trip completion.

11. Photography & Marketing

Photographs or videos may be taken during safaris for promotional use. Guests who do not wish to appear must notify us in advance.

All wildlife imagery remains the intellectual property of Lyoseko Safaris Tanzania.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Personal data is processed solely for booking and communication purposes in accordance with our Política de privacidad.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall fall under Tanzanian jurisdiction.
