A More Personal Way to Experience Tanzania
My name is Jackson Jayden Lyoseko, founder and guide of Lyoseko Safaris Tanzania.
I was born and raised in Tanzania and I know the Northern Circuit not from maps, but from real days in the bush.
Every safari I guide is private. No shared vehicles. No fixed routes.
I personally guide you through Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and beyond – creating a journey that fits your travel style.
Why Travel with Lyoseko Safaris?
Most safari companies assign you a guide.
With me, I am your guide.
From the first game drive to the last sunset in the bush, I am there with you personally. I know where to slow down, when to wait, and how to read the small signs of the wild. Fresh tracks, alarm calls, bird movement and animal behavior.
A safari is not only about seeing animals. It is about feeling the land, understanding the wildlife, and creating moments you will remember for the rest of your life — always with deep respect for wildlife and nature.
This is not a standard safari.
This is your safari.

Tanzania’s Most Iconic Safari Destinations
Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti is one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations in the world. It is known for big cats, endless plains and the Great Migration. Experience it on a private Serengeti safari. Depending on the season, your safari can focus on Central Serengeti, Ndutu, Western Serengeti or Northern Serengeti.
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater is a unique wildlife area in Tanzania with one of the highest concentrations of animals in Africa. Lions, elephants, buffalo, hyenas and sometimes rhinos can all be found inside this unique volcanic landscape. Explore it during a Ngorongoro Crater safari.
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire is famous for large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and beautiful landscapes. It is one of my favorite parks for a calm and authentic safari atmosphere. Discover it on a Tarangire safari.
Lake Manyara National Park & Karatu Highlands
Lake Manyara is a beautiful and diverse park, known for its lush forests, flamingos and unique tree-climbing lions. It’s the perfect stop between the larger parks, offering a relaxed and scenic safari experience. Enjoy it as part of a Lake Manyara safari in Tanzania. Karatu is a peaceful highland town located near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It’s the perfect place to relax between game drives, surrounded by green landscapes, coffee farms and quiet lodge settings. Most safaris include a stay near Karatu as part of a Ngorongoro safari experience.
Many of my safaris combine Tarangire safari, Ngorongoro Crater safari and a private Serengeti safari, with relaxing stops in places like Lake Manyara and Karatu.
Best Time to Visit Tanzania for a Safari
Tanzania can be visited all year round, but every season offers something different.
From June to October, the dry season is excellent for classic wildlife viewing. Animals gather around water sources, the grass is lower, and sightings are often easier.
From January to March, the southern Serengeti and Ndutu area are very special because of the calving season. This is when thousands of wildebeest calves are born, attracting predators and creating dramatic wildlife moments.
If you are not sure which period is best for your safari, I can help you choose the right route based on your travel dates.

Real safari experiences, guided personally by me – Jackson
★★★★★
Our safari with Jackson was truly special. From the very first day, his kindness and calm presence made us feel completely at ease. He was incredibly patient while we took photos and had an amazing eye for spotting wildlife. What impressed us most was his deep respect for nature and the way he shared stories and knowledge about the animals. We enjoyed every single moment and will cherish these memories forever.
During our safari with Jackson, everything was excellently arranged — clean accommodations, good food, and a comfortable jeep. Jackson’s passion, energy, and impressive knowledge created incredible experiences. His enthusiasm and warm personality made the safari truly unforgettable.
We had the most beautiful trip of our life in Tanzania, and this is largely thanks to our guide Jackson. He is incredibly friendly, professional, and clearly has a great passion for his work. Thanks to him, we were able to see so many beautiful animals.
We have known Jackson for almost three years now, and he has been our guide on two safaris (third coming soon) — both experiences were outstanding. Jackson has an exceptional knowledge of wildlife, but what truly sets him apart is his ability to understand his guests. He instinctively knows what you hope to see and adjusts the route based on his experience and the conditions of the day. His calm guidance, insight, and passion for nature make every safari feel effortless and deeply rewarding.
My safari’s with Jackson where unforgettable. His passion for wildlife, patience during game drives, and warm personality made every moment special. He didn’t just guide me — he shared his love for Tanzania with me.

What you see here is what I experience in the bush: lions resting in the morning light, elephants crossing dusty tracks, cheetahs scanning the plains and quiet moments that only happen when you take time.
That is the kind of safari I want to share with you.
